I’m Kurtis. Design sits at the center of my work. But for me, design has never just been about aesthetics or interfaces — it’s about leadership, empathy, and understanding people well enough to create experiences that genuinely work for them.
I’m most inspired by music and human stories. They remind me that every product, brand, community or organization ultimately exists to serve people. The more deeply we understand one another’s experiences and perspectives, the better we can design the systems, tools, and communications that shape and improve our world.
Over the past decade, I’ve worked across design, branding, product strategy, and user experience, helping organizations translate complex ideas into clear, intuitive experiences. My approach is rooted in listening, curiosity, and the belief that thoughtful design can make our world not only more functional, but easier to understand.
I’m currently Creative Director at Analogy, a creative consultancy I co-founded in 2019. Through Analogy, I work closely with founders and leadership teams to shape branding, strategy, digital products, and user experiences that help organizations grow with clarity and purpose.
In the last few years since the pandemic, much of my work has been with startups and emerging companies in music technology, fintech, and digital platforms, helping teams move from early ideas to well-designed, scalable products and brands.
Outside of consulting, I’m also Founder and Director of The Face Radio, a global community radio station founded in Brooklyn in 2018. I host weekly music programs and co-broadcast one of my shows on Totally Wired Radio in London, and Louderthanwar in Manchester continuing a lifelong connection to music, culture, and creative community.
I’m also an altMBA alumnus (Cohort 32), where I further developed my commitment to leadership, generosity, and meaningful creative work.
Today, I collaborate with founders, startups, and organizations who care deeply about the people they serve — designing brands, products, and experiences grounded in clarity, empathy, and thoughtful strategy.
